So what will the groups be doing?

Keep the campaign visible.

Here a few ideas, we are sure you will come up with your own too.


Posters in local shops and businesses.

Leaflet distribution.

Calls to Local radio shows.

Letters to the editor of local papers.

Petitions need to be organized and submitted to the advertisers in the local papers.

Where local businesses are friendly to our aims, reward them. Put them in your Hall of Fame, give them some free advertising via your website, encourage group members to use the goods and services of these businesses. Where firms are hostile to our goals then use that too. Put them in your Hall of Shame and boycott them.

Pressure your local councilors.

Pressure your MP

Peaceful demonstrations.

Social events

Another important aspect of the groups is finding and supporting people who will stand in local and national elections.
